A medical Convoy to “Nabaa El-Hob” Cancer Shelter
Extending PUA’s mission to raise health literacy and support vulnerable community groups, the Faculty of Dentistry, in collaboration with the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences, participated in a community outreach visit to Nabaa El-Hob shelter for pediatric cancer patients. The event was conducted under the auspices of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED).
The Faculty of Dentistry provided interactive awareness sessions for the children, highlighting the importance of oral hygiene, demonstrating proper brushing techniques, and promoting daily dental care habits. These activities aimed to establish preventive healthcare routines while delivering emotional support and encouragement to the children during their treatment journeys.
The initiative displayed successful collaboration between the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences, serving as an exemplary model of inter-faculty partnership at PUA. This joint effort reflects CSED’s continued dedication to driving humanitarian and health initiatives that serve the broader community.
