Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) has always been giving great attention to training due to its significant impact on developing students’ abilities, preparing them for the labor market, and increasing their employability. Accordingly, and in a bid to implement PUA’s field training plan, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, met with Dr. Emad Abu Al-Khair, Training Unit Director at Future Center for Training, Consultations and Medical Services.

The two parties reviewed the terms of their cooperation protocol, which includes the training of PUA at the Center, qualifying all PUA students from various faculties. Such training shall be in the engineering, health, technological, industrial, service, and educational fields. In addition to the fields of industrial and energy technology and its applications.

The protocol also aims to provide support and scientific assistance to students to consolidate the role and importance of training in raising students’ efficiency. This would eventually qualify the students for the labor market after graduation, and raise their employability in various fields.
