With the commencement of the new academic year 2025-2026, and as part of the university’s strategy to ensure the highest standards of readiness and quality, Prof. Dr. Maged El-Ghazouly, Dean of PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour to oversee the regularity of academic operations. Accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Sherihan Salah El-Din, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Enas Massoud, Quality Assurance Unit Manager, the tour included lecture halls, classrooms, and scientific laboratories. The objective was to verify the completion of technical and logistical preparations necessary to welcome students and provide an ideal educational environment that supports academic achievement from day one.

During the tour, the Dean engaged in direct and friendly dialogues with students across various halls, congratulating them on the new academic year. He emphasized that the student is the focal point and primary goal of all faculty development plans. In an inspiring “paternal” address, he encouraged students to take pride in belonging to such a prestigious academic institution and urged them to diligently utilize all the facilities and resources provided by the faculty. He stressed that excellence in pharmacy studies extends beyond obtaining degrees to building a conscious professional character capable of leading the future of healthcare.

This field tour and motivational meetings embody the faculty’s ambitious vision to foster an educational environment that nurtures creativity and elevates the quality of academic services. The active presence of faculty leadership reflects the university’s commitment to providing continuous moral and academic support to its students and establishing a culture of direct communication between administration and learners. This approach aims to ensure a leading position for the faculty in pharmaceutical sciences and to prepare a generation of pharmacists capable of competition and innovation, in alignment with global standards of quality assurance and academic excellence.
