Building Information Modeling Seminar

In line with PUA’s strategy to introduce engineering students to cutting-edge technologies transforming the global construction industry, the Faculty of Engineering hosted a specialized scientific seminar titled “Building Information Modeling (BIM).” Held under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the event drew broad attendance from academic staff, engineering students, and industry enthusiasts.

The seminar explored the foundational principles and advanced applications of BIM technology, highlighting its transformative role in modern architectural design, structural execution, and complex engineering project management. Speakers presented key practical frameworks, emphasizing how digital modeling optimizes workflows, enhances construction precision, and significantly improves resource efficiency across project lifecycles.

The event fostered dynamic engagement, offering students direct exposure to BIM strategies shaping the future of civil and architectural engineering. Through interactive Q&A sessions, participants discussed technical implementation pathways and career opportunities in digital engineering. This initiative underscores the Faculty’s commitment to delivering high-impact academic activities that blend theoretical learning with practical digital tools, preparing highly competitive graduates for global engineering markets.
