International Nutrition Week Seminar
Aligning with its strategy to advance health literacy and preventive nutrition, PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology hosted an educational seminar marking International Nutrition Week. Held under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the event brought together faculty members and students across health disciplines.
During the seminar, participating students presented structured educational presentations highlighting the clinical significance of a balanced diet, essential nutrients, and daily human nutritional requirements. Discussions focused on the direct impact of healthy dietary habits in preventing chronic diseases and improving overall quality of life, delivering practical health guidance for the campus community.
The event fostered active discussion between academic faculty and students, emphasizing the importance of ongoing health awareness programs in maintaining a health-conscious university environment. This initiative reflects PUA’s commitment to connecting specialized academic study with community wellness and global health awareness observances.
