Joint International Conference on Tourism and Language
PUA’s Faculties of Tourism and Hotel Management, and Languages and Translation proudly announce their joint International Conference titled “Tourism and Language: Discourse, Identity, and Narrative.” Scheduled for December 2–3, 2026, at Mohamed Ragab Hall, this distinguished academic gathering convenes leading scholars and international researchers to explore the dynamic intersection of tourism and linguistics, along with their roles in shaping discourse, identity, and cultural narratives.
The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for presenting original research, exchanging academic perspectives, and fostering constructive dialogue on how language and tourism shape human experiences and identities in an interconnected global landscape. The event highlights both theoretical and applied dimensions of cross-cultural communication and sustainable development in tourism.
PUA invites researchers and global scholars to assemble in Alexandria for this international academic exchange, aiming to advance research standards, expand institutional networking, and shape the future trajectory of tourism and language studies.
