Afforestation Workshop

PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, held a practical workshop on Afforestation at the university plant nursery to enhance environmental awareness among students. The workshop aimed to highlight the vital importance of vegetation in improving air quality and combating climate change, while showcasing the pivotal role of technology and AI in managing smart environmental initiatives and monitoring green space growth.

The event saw significant engagement through practical demonstrations on selecting appropriate plants and sustainable care methods, alongside discussions on integrating modern technical specializations into environmental causes. This workshop is part of PUA’s strategy to instill a culture of sustainability on campus and encourage students to actively participate in initiatives that adopt technological solutions to build a more conscious and eco-friendly society.
