Green Hydrogen: A Future Clean Energy Frontier

PUA’s Faculty of Engineering hosted a specialized seminar titled “Green Hydrogen,” organized under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. Led by Dr. Manal Gaber, the session explored the shift toward sustainable energy sources, defining green hydrogen as a cornerstone of future clean energy. The discussion highlighted its production process, which relies entirely on renewable sources such as solar and wind power, ensuring a carbon-free energy cycle.

The seminar detailed the versatile applications of green hydrogen, most notably in powering advanced transportation, electricity generation, and fueling heavy industries. The event featured highly interactive discussions, with students raising insightful questions regarding production mechanisms and economic viability. This academic engagement reflects PUA’s dedication to keeping pace with global trends in alternative energy solutions and environmental sustainability.
