A Live Demo on Rubber Dam Application

In its ongoing commitment to supporting continuing medical education, the Beheira Dentists’ Syndicate organized a distinguished dental scientific day. The event brought together a select group of senior lecturers spanning a wide range of dental specializations.

Among the prominent contributors was Dr. Rasha Hamouda, a lecturer in the Restorative Dentistry Department at PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry, who delivered an advanced live demonstration on the application of the Rubber Dam. Her session covered the latest practical techniques for achieving optimal isolation during dental procedures, with a focused discussion on the most common clinical errors and how to avoid them.

The scientific day also featured a distinguished lineup of specialist speakers, alongside a recognition ceremony honoring Beheira’s pioneering dentists, academic high-achievers, and postgraduate degree holders, in acknowledgement of their scientific and professional contributions.

The program also included a series of live clinical demonstrations, significantly enhancing the event’s practical value and providing attendees with direct learning opportunities and expert interaction. The event was offered entirely free of charge to dentists from Beheira Governorate and neighboring regions, in support of professional development without financial barriers. The Syndicate has also provided transportation and logistical support to ensure maximum attendance and the broadest possible benefit from the scientific program on offer.
