Keeping pace with the global evolution of the travel and hospitality industry, PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management hosted a specialized seminar titled “Digital Transformation in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry”. The event aimed to highlight the pivotal role of technology in reshaping tourism services by adopting electronic booking systems and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver exceptional customer experiences and enhance operational efficiency.

The seminar focused on the necessity of equipping students and graduates with digital skills to meet modern labor market demands. It also reviewed practical challenges and explored how smart solutions can overcome them. The seminar concluded with key recommendations calling for an accelerated pace of digitalization in tourism and hotel establishments. This initiative aims to bolster the sector’s competitiveness both locally and internationally, positioning PUA students as future leaders in the digital tourism landscape.
