As part of its ongoing efforts to nurture creative talents and build well-rounded student personalities, the Student Activities Department at PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management hosted the “Artist & Portrait” competition. This event is part of a series of interactive activities designed to provide students with a platform to express their artistic potential. The competition featured engaging challenges where students reimagined and recreated famous artworks and portraits using their unique styles, showcasing a remarkable ability to blend imagination with technical skill in a spirit of positive competition.

The Student Activities Department emphasized that organizing this competition reflects the university’s belief in art as a vital tool for intellectual refinement and innovation. The department noted that such activities directly contribute to honing students’ expression skills and fostering creative thinking, while also strengthening social bonds within the university community through programs that bridge the gap between education and entertainment. The faculty remains committed to supporting these initiatives, aiming to graduate creative professionals who possess both academic excellence and an innovative artistic perspective.
