PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management is highly committed to enhancing the role of community service and student activities in developing students’ skills and shaping their personalities. Within this context, the Student Activities Committee, in collaboration with the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, hosted an awareness workshop titled “The Importance and Role of Community Service and Student Activities in University Life.” The workshop was held in the presence of prominent faculty members along with numerous Faculty’s students.
The workshop featured a comprehensive presentation of the goals of community service and student activities and their positive impact on students’ academic and professional careers. Additionally, it presented the proposed plan for student activities and the community service and environmental development plan for the Fall 2025–2026 semester, which encompasses cultural events, workshops, educational trips, and volunteer activities. The workshop witnessed notable interaction from the students, many of whom expressed interest in actively participating in the various activity committees as well as community service events.
