In an inspirational and proud setting, PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions celebrated and honored a group of its academically and scientifically distinguished students. This special ceremony embodied the meaning of excellence, creativity, and university belonging. The event was held to recognize the students’ efforts and achievements during the academic year, reflecting PUA’s ongoing commitment to instilling a culture of excellence and supporting promising talents among its students.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saleh Al-Saeedi, Dean of the Faculty; and faculty members. The celebratory atmosphere was filled with pride and appreciation, with the participation of parents who were keen to support their children during the moments of honoring and brilliance.

In his speech, Dr. Mohamed Etman expressed PUA’s pride in its outstanding students, affirming that excellence is the fruit of ambition and diligence, and that its continuous achievements reflect its commitment to providing an educational environment that encourages creativity and innovation. He also called on students to continue their hard work and perseverance, and to follow the example of their honored colleagues, stressing the importance of sustaining the spirit of excellence within the university campus.

In this context, the concept of “Excellence Courses” was introduced as an innovative mechanism for selecting distinguished students in each faculty. One course is specified per semester (two courses annually) by specialists within the faculties. A student who achieves a grade of A or A+ in these two courses is considered a distinguished student. Furthermore, ten students from each faculty are selected each term to be honored on the distinguished list in recognition of their academic excellence, provided they excel in both the first and second semester’s Excellence Course for the same year.

Through this system, PUA aims to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and positive competition among its students, in addition to proposing special privileges for the distinguished students commensurate with their level of scientific achievement, thereby motivating them to continue their path of success and distinction.

The ceremony concluded with PUA affirming firm commitment to supporting academic excellence and developing student creativity, as a leading educational institution striving to prepare a generation capable of effectively contributing to achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals.
