Green Pharos Highlighted on Pharmacy’s Orientation Day

As part of PUA’s second environmental campaign, branded “Green Pharos,” the Faculty of Pharmacy held its Orientation Day for the freshman students. The day successfully combined a comprehensive introduction to university life for the pharmacy student with the promotion of values of environmental friendliness and sustainability.

During the event, Dr. Hossam El Din Yousry, the faculty’s representative in the “Green Pharos” committee, delivered a speech addressing the committee’s vision and its role in making Pharos University an eco-friendly campus. Dr. Yousry stressed that student commitment to conscious behaviors is the first step toward achieving this ambitious environmental goal.

The day also featured diverse segments to introduce students to the faculty and its academic departments, highlighting the services and opportunities offered, both at the educational level and within the sphere of environmental activities and initiatives that encourage active participation.
