Meetings to Activate Special Needs Center’s Role

Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, has conducted a series of individual meetings with coordinators of the Special Needs Center from various university faculties. In his capacity as the Center’s director, Dr. Etman outlined the Center’s mechanisms, role, and primary functions.
The meetings addressed work frameworks, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, and task organization, in addition to proposed services for students with special needs. Discussions also covered report preparation, attendance at periodic meetings, and ways for faculties to provide support to the Center.
Dr. Etman emphasized the importance of conducting personal interviews to determine disability types and provide appropriate activities for each case, as well as receiving student suggestions in line with the university’s vision of achieving an inclusive educational environment. Coordinators from all university faculties participated in these meetings.
