Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, met with Counselor Mohamed Fathy Mostafa, a patent and trademark agent, intellectual property and innovation management expert, and attorney at the Court of Cassation and Supreme Administrative Court. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohamed Badawi, Director of the Training Unit at the Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions.
Discussions focused on enhancing student training programs through online workshops and lectures led by legal practitioners and specialists. It also stressed bridging academic knowledge with practical skills in areas like intellectual property and litigation management as well as reparing students for the job market by equipping them with legal analysis tools and contract drafting expertise.
Dr. Etman stated, “These programs are vital to ensuring our graduates meet the demands of a competitive legal market,” adding that “partnerships with field experts enrich education and keep it aligned with global trends.”
Further, Counselor Mostafa emphasized, “This initiative will expose students to real-world challenges, boosting their problem-solving confidence,” while Dr. Badawi noted, “The faculty is designing tailored training tracks to address diverse legal sector needs.”
