The Faculty Applied Health Sciences Technology successfully organized a cultural seminar. It was sponsored by Prof. Dr. Rajaa Abdul Qadir, Dean, Prof. Dr. Hamdy Al-Wakeel, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Esraa Moneer, student activities coordinator.

 

Through this seminar, Dr. Muhammad Al-Safwani, a lecturer at the Department of Radiation Science Technology and Medical Imaging, explained the significance of the early detection of breast cancer, and raising the awareness of its risks.

 

Further, He demonstrated the various methods of examination, early detection, the latest early detection devices, and most effective treatments. The seminar also focused on the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, and avoiding the factors that can increase the risk of infection.
