As part of PUA’s efforts to enhance its role in community service and develop the skills of its academic staff, the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and Design, held a workshop titled “Your Project from Home”.

The workshop was supervised by Dr. Dina El Kallaf, Faculty’s Community Service Committee member, along with other faculty members. The workshop focused on one of the most important pathways of artistic entrepreneurship, covering techniques of painting and coloring on clothes as a modern form of manual printing that can be implemented from home and turned into a small artistic project with economic value.

Participants engaged in direct practical application on clothes, including experimenting with colors, fixation methods, and techniques for designing marketable art pieces. The workshop contributed to equipping faculty members with new skills related to creative industries, opening horizons for community and educational initiatives through which this expertise can be transferred to students and the local community.

Through this activity, CSED affirms its continued support for initiatives that combine art and entrepreneurship, and enhance PUA’s role in developing the skills of its members and raising their level of community participation.
