Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) is committed to integrating individuals with special needs into the educational environment and society, striving to provide an inclusive and safe environment, empowering them to be self-reliant and achieve the highest possible level of independence. In this context, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in his capacity as head of the Special Needs Center, held the second meeting with the Center’s coordinators from various faculties.

During this meeting, mechanisms for implementing student needs and taking necessary actions were discussed, along with the essential and pivotal role of the center’s coordinators in delivering services to students. The discussion also covered proposals, report submission, and facilitating educational services as much as possible, as well as their implementation methods. This underscores the university’s efforts to provide a supportive and accessible learning environment, ensuring effective integration for these students.
