Dr. Abbas Ezzat is currently a Petrochemicals engineering professor at Pharos University, a senior associate consultant at Channoil Consulting LTD, London, and a distinguished researcher at IGSR, Alexandria University. Prior joining Academia, he occupied several top managerial positions in the Egyptian Petroleum/Petrochemical industries Dr. Ezzat holds Ph.D. of Science in Petrochemical Applications from Alexandria University, and completed his postgraduate studies in Petroleum Processing from the School of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University. In addition, he got his M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington International University in 1998. He has published more than 45 articles in different journals
Dr. Mohamed Salem Mohamed Badawi

Full Professor of Radiation Physics and Protection Director of Academic Scientific Programs- Faculty of Science Alamein International University- New Alamein, Egypt
Dr. Badawi completed his Ph.D. in radiation physics in 2010 as a fellowship system between Alexandria University (Egypt) and the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK.CEN) (Belgium)
He has an active license as an expert in radiation protection from the Nuclear & Radiological Regulatory Authority-Egypt.
He also renews, established, and managed the radiation physics research laboratory in the faculty of science, Alex Univ and faculty of science, BAU as well. Dr. Badawi held several positions: Director of Academic Programs, Faculty of Science, Alamein , International University – New Alamein, Egypt since 2022 , Head of Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Beirut Arab University, Lebanon since 2020-2022 ,Editor & Reviewer in 111 international Journals ,Throughout his career, he had several running international projects in the radiation field with Russia, Montenegro, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, India, Bulgaria and Egypt. Dr. Badawi research interests focus on the field of radiation physics, especially Gamma-ray spectroscopy, radiation detection, and measurement “Calibration Techniques and Protection”. He participated in 26 international conferences, and he has published over 115 scientific professional papers. He received more than 2362 citations (h-index = 30).

Dr. Bothaina Kandil

Specialization : Medical Biophysics
Bothaina Kandil serves as a Lecturer in Radiological Science & Medical Imaging and a General Academic Advisor at Pharos University in Alexandria. Holding a Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics (Medical Research Institute, 2014), a Master’s in the same field (2009), and a B.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics (Alexandria University, 2004), her expertise spans a range of critical areas. Her research interests encompass medical imaging, nanoparticle applications, radiation physics, biomedical physics, radiotherapy, and radiation protection. Dr. Kandil’s work is dedicated to advancing medical imaging techniques,
enhancing radiation safety, and exploring the innovative use of nanotechnology in medical applications.
Dr. Ahmed M Eldrieny

Assoc.Prof Mohamed I. Badawi

Dr. Mohamed I. Badawi is a distinguished academic and researcher in communication, electronic, and biomedical engineering, currently leading the biomedical equipment technology department and computer center at Pharos University, Egypt. With a Ph.D from Alexandria University in 2012 and a professional diploma in sustainability in education from Technological University Dublin in 2024, he has made impactful contributions to radiation detectors, radiation shielding, finite element modeling, medical imaging, nanotechnology, cancer diagnostics, and hyperthermia treatment.
