The Community Service Center at the Faculty of Arts and Design seeks to enhance community outreach and foster creativity among school students. Within these efforts, PUA welcomed students from Edko Secondary School for Girls for an orientation workshop aimed to open new horizons for students to explore the fields of design and applied arts.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the faculty’s specialized laboratories and departments, along with presentations detailing the academic curricula and practical training programs. This provided students with a firsthand look at artistic workflows and creative production methods. Additionally, the workshop featured interactive activities designed to help students discover their artistic potential and refine their aesthetic sensibilities.
The Center emphasized that hosting such visits is part of its strategic plan to support local schools and reinforce the university’s role in community service. By introducing students to various academic disciplines, the university assists them in developing a clearer future vision for their academic and professional paths. The visit concluded with commemorative photos and an expression of gratitude to the management of Edko Secondary School for their ongoing commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for their students.
