Graduate Studies Administration:
The Graduate Studies Administration is one of the administrative units affiliated with the Sector of Graduate Studies and Research at Pharos University in Alexandria. It is responsible for all matters related to graduate students, starting from admission and registration procedures through to the awarding of academic degrees, in accordance with the approved university policies and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Graduate Studies Administration undertakes the following duties:

- Coordinating, preparing, and organizing master’s and doctoral programs in collaboration with the various faculties and academic departments.
- Managing and organizing student admission procedures for graduate programs, including reviewing applications and ensuring that admission criteria are aligned with university policies.
- Providing academic supervision and guidance to students, monitoring their academic progress, ensuring the availability of qualified academic supervisors, and offering the necessary academic support.
- Supporting and guiding students in the preparation of their scientific research through workshops, training programs, and academic consultation.
- Organizing administrative procedures related to student registration, tuition fee payments, and adherence to the academic calendar.
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality of graduate programs to ensure compliance with local and international quality standards.
- Cooperating with research, academic, and applied institutions to align scientific research with community needs and labor market requirements.
- Supporting and organizing scientific conferences and workshops that enable students to present their research and enhance their engagement with the academic community.
