Physical Therapy’s Movie Night
As part of its efforts to balance academic and recreational aspects, PUA’s Faculty of Physical Therapy organized a movie night under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. The event attracted significant attendance from both students and faculty members, successfully achieving its objectives of strengthening social connections among students and providing a meaningful recreational space within the university environment.
The event notably succeeded in cultivating participants’ artistic and cultural appreciation while providing a refreshing break from academic routines, positively impacting students’ mental health. Participants expressed great enthusiasm for this initiative, valuing it as both an entertaining and educational experience.
Building on the event’s success, attendees recommended increasing similar activities in the future, proposing regular (monthly or quarterly) screenings of educational and cultural films relevant to physical therapy or supporting students’ psychological and social well-being. These suggestions reflect the Faculty’s commitment to addressing student needs and developing a comprehensive university environment that fosters academic, social, and psychological growth.
