From Idea to Space
In a scene reflecting the essence of creativity and the spirit of innovation, the Student Activities, Community Service, and Environmental Development Committee at PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design held a new and distinguished workshop titled: “From Idea to Space”. The workshop was presented by Dr. Amira Hamdy, Head of the Student Activities and Community Service Committee and Lecturer in the Décor Department, and Dr. Walaa Anwar, Lecturer in the Décor Department. They creatively explored the stages of design idea evolution and how to transform it into an integrated architectural space that combines aesthetics, function, and identity.
During the workshop, students participated in practical and interactive activities that allowed them the opportunity to express their design ideas and hone their practical skills through the exchange of experiences and visions with faculty members. The atmosphere was also distinguished by a spirit of creativity and teamwork, embodying the Faculty’s mission of linking education with practice and experimentation.
The event concluded with the awarding of certificates of appreciation to the participants and organizers from the Student Activities, Community Service, and Environmental Development Committee, in recognition of their efforts in making this inspiring event a success, reflecting Pharos University’s vision to support creativity and enhance the role of design in building the future.
