Listening Test (Week 13)
Dear Students,
Kindly note that your Listening Test Will be held in (Week 13), so please make sure you attend your session on time.
There will be a regular session (so bring your books as usual) and the test will be held in the last 30 minutes of the session.
Once the test starts, you will not be allowed to enter.
Important Announcement “Daylight Time Saving”
Dear Students,
This message is to inform you about the upcoming change to Daylight Saving Time (DST) in Egypt.
As per the government’s regulations, Daylight Saving Time will begin on:
Friday, April 25, 2025, at 12:00 midnight.
At this time, clocks will be moved forward by one hour. This means that when the clock strikes midnight on Friday, it will immediately become 1:00 AM.
Please be aware of this change as it will affect the timing of any early morning classes, appointments, or personal schedules you may have on or after this date. It is advisable to adjust your clocks and devices accordingly.
We encourage you to be mindful of this change to avoid any confusion or inconvenience.

Important Announcement – Easter Holiday
Dear Students,
Please note that the face-to-face session on Sunday, April 20, will be available on Blackboard for Christian students who will not be able to attend university on that day.
It will be available for submission until the evening of Saturday, April 26, at the latest.
Online lectures will be posted at their regular times, according to the academic schedule.

Important announcement – Resume Remedial class
Dear Students
Kindly note that your ELC Remedial Sessions will resume this week and every Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 and you MUST be there on time with your BOOKS.

Kindly note that you will ONLY have an online session in WEEK (8) . It will be posted on Thursday 03/04/2025 and will be opened till Saturday 05/04/2025.
Your sessions (face to face and online) will run NORMALLY according to your timetable in WEEK (9)

Dear Students,
Please Note that during your next session, your teacher will show you your corrected midterm exam papers. This will be your only chance to see your papers to learn from your mistakes and track your performance, so please make sure you are there.
1- Important Announcement (2) Ramadan Schedule
Dear students,
Please note that your sessions during the holy month “Ramadan” will be as follows:-
F2F Sessions at 08:30 AM
Your F2F session will start at 9:00 am instead of 8:30 am and will end at 10:55 am instead of 11:00 am.
F2F Sessions at 12:30 pm
Your F2F session will start at 11:40 am instead of 12:30 pm and will end at 1:35 pm instead of 3:00 pm.
Online sessions run all day long as usual (7:00 am – 11:59 pm)
2- Important Announcement (2) Ramadan Schedule UGE04 – UGE05
Dear students,
Please note that your sessions during the holy month “Ramadan” will be as follows:-
F2F Sessions at 08:30 AM
Your F2F session will start at 9:00 am instead of 8:30 am and will end at 10:15 am instead of 10:30 am.
F2F Sessions at 12:30 pm
Your F2F session will start at 11:40 am instead of 12:30 pm and will end at 12:55 pm instead of 2:30 pm.

3- Important Announcement – ELC Remedial Classes Spring 2025
Dear Students
Kindly note that you have been enrolled on ELC Remedial Sessions which will provide you with necessary academic support. The sessions will be held every Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 according to the attached PDF below and you MUST be there on time with your BOOKS.
In case you have any time conflicts, please head to the academic coordinator to find a suitable alternative.
4- English Midterm Exam – Spring 2025 – UGE00 – UGE01 – UGE02
Dear Students,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you of the upcoming Midterm Examinations, which are scheduled to take place on Date Sunday 23/3/2025 at Time 09:00 am ( Week 7) at your faculty .
The Mid-Term Exams are a crucial component of your Coursework, as their marks (20 marks) represent 20% of the total course marks.
Here are some essential details regarding the Mid-Term Exams:
1. Exam Format: Make sure to be familiar with the exam format on your Tutorial class on BB “Mock – Midterm exam”
2. Study Material: Review your course materials, and you can discuss what you can’t cover with your instructor in your F2F sessions in Week (6)
3. Examination Guidelines: On the day of the exam, arrive at the designated examination venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Remember to bring your student ID card and make sure you write your name and ID in the proper context.
