A Visit to “Nabaa El-Hob” Cancer Shelter

In line with PUA’s dedication to promoting social responsibility and supporting humanitarian causes, the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences, in collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry, participated in a community outreach visit to Nabaa El-Hob shelter for pediatric cancer patients. The initiative was conducted under the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED).

The event reflects PUA’s continuous efforts to strengthen engagement with civil society organizations and deliver tailored support for children. The two faculties combined their administrative and clinical expertise to ensure the campaign’s success, with the Faculty of Dentistry delivering interactive health awareness sessions on oral hygiene and daily preventive care habits for the children.

This joint visit highlights the value of interdisciplinary collaboration within the university in driving impactful community work and fostering human solidarity with vulnerable groups. CSED remains committed to supporting sustainable, high-impact outreach programs that connect academic faculties with the broader community.
