A Clinical Training Program at the Naval General Hospital
In implementation of the academic curriculum of the Faculty of Applied Health Science Technology and pursuant to the cooperation protocol between PUA and Naval General Hospital (Naval Forces), Dental Prostheses Manufacture Technology students have commenced their external clinical training at the hospital. This hands-on training forms an integral component of their coursework, designed to equip students with essential practical competencies.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, emphasized that this training program aligns with the Faculty’s strategic vision to integrate theoretical knowledge with clinical practice. “This initiative prepares technically proficient graduates who meet healthcare sector demands,” he stated, noting that the partnership with Naval General Hospital exposes students to cutting-edge dental prosthetics technologies and protocols.
PUA’s Field Training Center oversees the program’s implementation, adhering to rigorous standards to ensure optimal training quality across disciplines. The intensive curriculum covers practical aspects of dental prosthetics under the supervision of the hospital’s specialized medical professionals.
