A Broad Meeting with Field Training Unit Heads
In line with continuous efforts to upgrade the educational and vocational training systems, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, PUA’s Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, held an extensive meeting with the heads of Field Training Units across all faculties. The meeting focused on reviewing the executive status of field training, verifying the number of students enrolled in approved programs, and ensuring all requirements are met to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.
The session included a detailed discussion on compliance rates with approved training plans and an analysis of the primary challenges encountered during the training process. Dr. Etman directed the establishment of clear mechanisms to strengthen field monitoring and improve training quality, ensuring students receive optimal preparation for the labor market according to modern standards.
Furthermore, Dr. Etman emphasized the necessity of preparing regular, accurate reports to monitor the training workflow and document observations in real-time. He stressed the importance of taking immediate corrective actions to enhance performance and address any training gaps. This initiative reaffirms PUA’s commitment to providing high-quality field training that equips students with the essential applied and professional skills for their future careers.
