Recognizing Languages’ Outstanding Students
Academic excellence represents a foundational step toward building a successful professional and societal future. Driven by this principle, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) continues its effort to discover outstanding students and recognize their achievements, guided by a vision aimed at converting academic distinction into positive energy that enriches university life and expands student participation in community initiatives. Within this framework, CSED held a ceremony honoring high-achieving students at the Faculty of Languages and Translation in recognition of their dedication and academic performance.
This honoring forms part of PUA’s Excellence Course System, which designates a distinguished academic course in each faculty per semester based on specialized committee decisions, selecting ten top students achieving grades of A or A+ in the specified course for official recognition. The system aims to heighten student learning motivation, foster scientific capability development, and consolidate a culture of positive competition rooted in effort and accomplishment.
Furthermore, this initiative serves as a primary tool for CSED to identify talented students and monitor their growth, leveraging their capabilities in upcoming campus and community activities while providing tailored opportunities to expand their skills. CSED emphasizes that nurturing distinguished students extends beyond ceremonial recognition to continuous encouragement, skill enhancement, and deepened university and community engagement, contributing to building a conscious generation qualified to support sustainable development.
