Contemporary Photography and Composition

Under the supervision of PUA’s Student Activities Department, the Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized workshop focusing on contemporary photography and the interplay between stillness and motion. The event aimed to enhance both practical techniques and artistic sensibilities among students.

During the session, Dr. Omnia Gaber presented methods for integrating visual elements, focusing on line, color, mass, and space to construct dynamic compositions. These techniques balance stillness and movement within artistic works, reflecting diverse artistic approaches and expressions in modern visual art.

The workshop highlighted key developments in contemporary photography and current creative trends. Such practical sessions expand artistic perspectives and empower students to convey complex ideas and emotions through visual imagery.

This initiative aligns with the Faculty’s strategy to foster creativity and encourage artistic experimentation. By bridging academic instruction with modern artistic practices, the faculty prepares a new generation of artists and designers capable of delivering innovative visual perspectives.
