Green Pharos Present in Pharmacy’s Orientation Day

As part of PUA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing environmental awareness and embedding sustainability across the campus community, the Green Pharos committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the orientation day for newly admitted students, bringing together faculty members and incoming students.

In her address, the Vice-president for Educational Process Follow-up and Quality Assuance, emphasized PUA’s dedication to providing an integrated educational environment that balances academic excellence with professional and personal skill development. She also highlighted the vital role of co-curricular, community, and environmental engagement in preparing graduates capable of meeting evolving labor market demands while advancing sustainable development goals.

The orientation introduced new students to the committee’s mission of promoting environmental stewardship, resource optimization, and sustainable habits across the faculty. PUA continues to champion student-led green initiatives, fostering a responsible, health-conscious, and environmentally aware academic community.
