Role of Artificial Intelligence in Sustainability

In line with its strategic vision toward a sustainable future and its commitment to integrating technological innovation with environmental awareness, PUA’s Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence hosted a specialized seminar titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Sustainability.” The event was conducted under the auspices of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED).

The seminar examined the pivotal role of AI technologies and advanced algorithms in supporting environmental sustainability, highlighting applications in energy optimization, resource and waste management, environmental data analysis, and climate change mitigation. Sessions highlighted the necessity of deploying digital innovations to tackle contemporary ecological challenges, driving a transition toward highly efficient and sustainable practices.

This initiative underscores CSED’s commitment to advancing technological literacy for environmental protection. PUA continues to encourage students to harness their technical skills to develop innovative ecological solutions, reinforcing environmental responsibility across the campus and broader community.
