A Cinematography and Lighting Workshop
PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication continued the second day of its first training camp for Radio and Television students, “RTV Experience Bootcamp,” featuring a specialized workshop on cinematography fundamentals and lighting techniques. The session was conducted by Mr. Ahmed El-Bordj, Director of Development at BBS Canon Egypt, reinforcing the faculty’s academic partnership with industry leaders in media production technologies.
During the workshop, students explored core composition principles, lighting varieties, and visual deployment strategies to enhance media content quality. The session incorporated practical exercises that solidified technical concepts, offering students direct exposure to professional production requirements and bridging academic theory with real-world industry applications.
Participating students engaged actively in technical discussions regarding advanced filming mechanics and visual production standards, demonstrating high commitment to professional development. This workshop forms an integral part of the “RTV Experience Bootcamp” agenda, which aims to advance the practical competencies of Radio and Television students and prepare them effectively for the evolving media job market.
