Energy Resource Management in the Era of Challenges
The 10th International Conference of PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences was inaugurated at Dr. Mohamed Ragab Hall. Held in cooperation with the Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), the conference aligns with PUA’s third environmental campaign, “Green Pharos.” The event featured a distinguished scientific session titled “Energy Resource Management in the Era of Challenges… Towards a Zero-Waste Future,”.
The session hosted an elite panel of experts and specialists, including Prof. Dr. Khaled Qassem, Assistant Minister of Local Development for Environmental Affairs and the Ministry’s Official Spokesperson, Dr. Ehab Zakaria, an Egyptian Senator), Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat, Director of the Strategic Studies Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Dr. Ahmed Moaty, CEO of VI Markets in Egypt, Dr. Andaleeb El-Shimy, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of ADK Development Foundation and Vice-chairman of the International Academy for Community Diplomacy and Strategic Studies (IACDSS), Prof. Dr. Wafik Nossair, Member of the World Environmental Conference, Dr. Nourhan Mohamed Hassan, Chairperson of the International Center for Consultation and Governance, and Captain Khaled El-Morshedy, Smart Security Systems Expert.
The participants discussed sustainable energy resource management, the centrality of transitioning toward clean energy, the circular economy, and green finance. The discussions highlighted the role of advanced technology and artificial intelligence applications in elevating resource management efficiency and minimizing waste, while emphasizing the importance of integration among state institutions, academia, and the private sector to achieve sustainable development goals.
