Sustainable Development Workshop

PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized Workshop on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to spread environmental awareness and empower youth to confront current economic and climate challenges. The workshop featured broad participation from professors and students, focusing on mechanisms to balance economic growth, environmental protection, and social equity, while emphasizing the soft power of art and design in crafting influential visual messages for society.

Speakers highlighted the pivotal role of youth in building a sustainable future by innovating creative solutions for societal issues. The event included an art exhibition of student works, depicting issues such as climate change, the importance of recycling, and the conservation of natural resources through innovative artistic methods. The Faculty concluded with recommendations stressing the continuity of such activities to encourage students to actively engage in national and international initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development.
