Recycling Techniques Workshop

PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in collaboration with the “Green Pharos” Committee at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, held a specialized workshop on “Recycling.” This initiative is part of the third edition of PUA’s annual environmental campaign, aimed at fostering a culture of sustainability and introducing students to waste reduction mechanisms as a cornerstone of environmental protection.

The workshop drew numerous students, where Dr. Ahmed Magdy, representative of the Green Pharos Committee, discussed the vital role of recycling in reducing pollution levels and emphasized individual responsibility in adopting eco-friendly habits. The program featured technical demonstrations of various recycling methods alongside innovative practical models for transforming waste into valuable products. At the conclusion of the event, organizers stressed the importance of sustaining these educational efforts to support PUA’s vision of achieving sustainable development and fulfilling its leading role in community service.
