“Save It – Keep It” Initiative

Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) has joined the activities of the “Save It … Keep It” initiative for energy conservation, under the direct supervision of the Student Activities Department. This step comes in response to national efforts to spread a culture of sustainability and enhance environmental awareness within academic circles and the university community.

Students achieved widespread engagement by implementing a group of innovative educational and creative activities. These efforts included designing awareness campaigns across the campus and producing purposeful digital content focused on embedding energy efficiency concepts into daily practices, ensuring the message reaches the widest possible audience.

The Student Activities Department highlighted its continuous drive to motivate young cadres to involve themselves in major national initiatives. This approach contributes to refining students’ social awareness and maximizes their role in creating a tangible positive impact, especially regarding vital issues such as preserving national resources and securing the future of energy.
