In a move that embodies the fusion of art and sustainability, and with the support of the Community Service Center and the “Green Pharos” Committee, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized event titled “Functional Sustainability: Waste to Worth”. This event stands as a core pillar of PUA’s third environmental campaign, aiming to instill the concept of a “Circular Economy” and transform waste into artistic pieces and products of high functional and aesthetic value.

The event focused on providing innovative design solutions that blend function with beauty, reflecting PUA’s vision for optimal resource utilization and environmental waste reduction. The “Green Pharos” Committee emphasized that adopting these creative practices is the ideal path toward a sustainable and resource-conscious campus. These activities activate the role of faculties in spreading environmental awareness and implementing sustainability strategies in line with Egypt Vision 2030 and the comprehensive Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
