Blending artistic elegance with environmental responsibility, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized workshop titled “Using Quilling Art in Interior and Graphic Design as a Means of Achieving Sustainability”. The workshop aimed to explore new horizons for recycling paper materials and transforming them into innovative design elements that reduce environmental waste and support the concept of a circular economy within the design fields.
The workshop focused on equipping students with practical skills to transform renewable materials into eco-friendly design solutions, emphasizing the role of applied arts in instilling sustainability values. This event is part of the efforts of the Faculty’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) to enhance environmental awareness and develop students’ creative and professional capabilities. This aligns with Pharos University’s strategy to promote a culture of Sustainable Development and fulfill social responsibility goals both within and beyond the university campus.
