Woodworking Joinery and Working Drawings
In its ongoing effort to bridge creative thinking with executive precision, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, supervised by the Student Activities Department, hosted a specialized workshop on “Woodworking Joinery for Working Drawings”. The workshop aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical design and practical application in the furniture and woodworking industry.
The workshop focused on empowering students with the tools to transform innovative designs into accurate Working Drawings, providing a comprehensive explanation of various types of Wood Joinery and how to plan them geometrically on paper to ensure structural durability. This initiative aligns with the faculty’s vision to enhance students’ practical skills and their ability to merge artistic flair with rigorous engineering standards, preparing them to deliver future woodworking projects that balance structural beauty with functional efficiency.
