An Introductory Workshop on the “Nawar Award”
In a strategic step reflecting its continuous commitment to supporting young talent and refining their creative skills, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized workshop on the “Nawar Award,” featuring significant student attendance and high levels of interaction. The workshop was held under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, aiming to introduce students to the award’s philosophy and objectives, highlight evaluation criteria, and detail participation mechanisms. Additionally, the session provided practical guidance to help students develop their artistic ideas and projects in alignment with the award’s requirements.
The event witnessed productive discussions between students and presenters, where inspiring examples of artworks reflecting contemporary innovation were reviewed. The focus was on transforming artistic visions into comprehensive projects capable of competing in major artistic forums. This workshop is part of the faculty’s role in opening new horizons for its students, encouraging them to engage in artistic competitions that build their professional and artistic portfolios, thereby reinforcing the university’s position as a hub for creativity and artistic excellence.
