Art and Design’s Fashion Exhibition

In a creative celebration embodying the comprehensiveness of modern fashion studies and their diverse applications, Prof. Dr. Maha Darwish, Dean of PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, inaugurated the Fashion Department’s annual exhibition. Supervised by the Student Activities Department, the event showcased student achievements in several specialized courses, reflecting the faculty’s firm commitment to nurturing young talent and providing an educational environment that blends artistic innovation with practical functional needs to effectively prepare students for the global labor market.

The exhibition featured a diverse range of student projects, starting with innovative digital designs utilizing the latest software alongside advanced applied models in textile structures that demonstrated a profound understanding of material properties. Furthermore, the event highlighted pioneering design solutions for adaptive clothing for people with disabilities, where students successfully balanced humanitarian and aesthetic requirements. They also managed to create occupational attire that combines practicality with a distinct visual identity, proving their ability to meet the dynamic demands of the textile and garment industry as emphasized by Prof. Dr. Maha Darwish.
