In a distinguished academic and social gathering, PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy celebrated its “Alumni Day”. The event aimed to foster sustainable communication between the faculty and its graduates, serving as a platform to transfer real-world expertise to current students.
The day featured a prominent attendance of department heads and faculty members, with a program highlighting inspiring success stories. Dr. Sara Abu Auf (Class of 2014) and Dr. Sohaila Lotfy (Class of 2019) presented valuable insights into their professional journeys and market challenges. Adding a touch of creativity, Dr. Abdelrahman Salmi (Class of 2023) performed a short artistic segment, creating an atmosphere of joy and intergenerational connection among alumni.
The Faculty reaffirms that this annual event stems from its belief in the vital role alumni networks play in supporting students’ professional development. Bridging the gap between the faculty and its graduates not only prepares students for their future careers but also strengthens the faculty’s standing as an academic and professional hub that keeps pace with the evolving pharmaceutical field while celebrating its graduates’ successes.
