PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) is committed to enhancing social awareness and encourage effective student participation. Within this context, CSED, in collaboration with the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, celebrated the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The event aimed to educate students and the university community about the importance of combating violence against women, and to promote a culture of respect and equality. The event included workshops and discussion sessions that addressed various forms of violence and ways to prevent and deal with them, in addition to distributing awareness flyers and posters to attendees.
During the celebration, CSED affirmed the important role students can play in spreading social awareness and contributing to creating a safe environment, emphasizing PUA’s commitment to supporting community initiatives that promote human and social values. CSED also indicated that these events aim to instill a culture of responsibility and effective citizenship among students, in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
