How to Be a Successful Host
PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted a workshop titled “How to Be a Successful Host”, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. Eng. May Etman spoke during the workshop, defining the role of the host, the importance of their presence, and their impact on the audience. She also focused on effective communication skills, body language during presentation, and how to prepare thoroughly before any event.
She also covered how to manage time and smoothly transition between segments, deal with emergencies or unexpected situations on stage, in addition to offering practical advice for building self-confidence in front of an audience. The workshop saw great interaction from both students and faculty members, affirming the importance of these skills in refining students’ personalities and their abilities in leadership and communication.
