In a significant step to bridge academia with professional practice, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, received Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed, President of the Alexandria Lawyers Bar Association, to explore joint cooperation in practical training for students of the Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions.

The key Areas of cooperation included intensive training programs in courts and legal institutions, specialized professional workshops, development of court session simulation models, and exchange of expertise between academics and practitioners.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Agamy, Vice Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Mohamed Badawi, Director of the Training Unit, where all parties emphasized the importance of this partnership in preparing qualified legal cadres that meet labor market needs.

Dr. Etman stated that “this cooperation translates the university’s vision of linking academic curricula with practical application, equipping students with professional skills for career excellence.”

The Bar President welcomed this partnership, noting it will enhance graduates’ competence and better prepare them for legal practice.
