As part of the joint program between Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) and Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) in Ireland, the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences welcomed a delegation from TU Dublin. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of the joint program, evaluate student graduation projects, and oversee final examination procedures across various specializations.

The delegation included prominent representatives from TU Dublin, namely Prof. Dr. Cormac McMahon, Head of Finance Department at the School of Accounting, Economics, and Finance; Dr. John Murray, Head of Strategy and Leadership Department; Dr. Damian O’Reilly, Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Management at the School of Retail and Service Management; and Dr. Niamh Imbusch, Lecturer in Human Resource Management. All these guests participated in diverse activities during the visit, including joint lectures, student workshops, and graduation project evaluations. These activities provided a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas and expertise between the two universities.

Among the notable events was a workshop presented by Dr. Niamh Imbusch from TU Dublin, which focused on assessment methods and strategies for faculty members. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Nourhan Fanaki, PUA’s Vice President; Prof. Dr. Tarek Taha, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Mohamed Ragab, PUA’s Secretary-General; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menatallah Gowayed, Director of PUA’s International Relations Department; and Prof. Dr. Wael Mostafa, Faculty’s Vice Dean and International Relations Coordinator. This workshop specifically highlighted assessment methodologies and the faculty’s commitment to quality standards in education, reflecting PUA’s dedication to elevating its educational process.

The visit included several meetings between both parties to monitor the joint program’s progress, in addition to delivering a series of lectures to faculty students. On the sidelines of the visit, TU Dublin’s delegation attended the Ninth International Conference on Innovation Challenges in Business and Economic Sustainability, organized by the Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences. This interaction underscores the deep cooperation between the two universities and fosters the exchange of knowledge and international expertise.
