Computer Science’s Charity Market
As part of its efforts to promote a culture of participation and social responsibility among students, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center(CSED) participated in supervising the Charity Market organized by the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Dean of the Faculty.
This initiative aimed to support humanitarian efforts and instill the values of solidarity within the University. The market provided students and faculty members with the opportunity to contribute to charitable work, with proceeds directed to deserving groups.
CSED praised the spirit of cooperation demonstrated by the Faculty’s students in organizing the event, asserting that such activities contribute to building a student personality aware of the values of giving and solidarity and support PUA’s direction towards strengthening its connection with the local community. Further, CSED has confirmed its continued support for purposeful activities that establish the University’s role as a leading institution in community service.
