AI and Interior Architecture for Administrative Spaces
PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a workshop on artificial intelligence and interior architecture for administrative spaces. Held under the supervision of PUA’s Student Activities Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasmine Mamdouh delivered the instructional material, presenting artificial intelligence as a vital modern tool that enhances interior architecture and administrative space design by providing innovative solutions that merge artistic creativity with advanced digital technologies to align with contemporary demands and optimize space efficiency.
The integration of artificial intelligence into interior architecture derives its importance from its ability to assist designers in generating design concepts, developing 3D renderings, and selecting appropriate colors, materials, and lighting schemes, while analyzing user requirements to strike a balance between aesthetic, functional, and human dimensions of internal environments. Furthermore, embedding artificial intelligence into interior design education provides an opportunity to evolve design-thinking methodologies and inspire students to explore non-traditional solutions across residential, administrative, commercial, and educational environments, emphasizing that artificial intelligence operates primarily as an empowering tool for the designer.
This event highlights PUA’s commitment to exposing its students to cutting-edge technological advancements in design disciplines. The university continues to organize hands-on workshops that complement academic knowledge with practical digital skills, empowering graduates to excel in competitive local and global professional markets.
