Celebrating World Oral Health Day

PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in collaboration with the Green Pharos Committee at the Faculty of Dentistry, held a celebration of the “World Oral Health Day” titled “Nutrition, Environmental Conservation, and Sustainability.” This event is part of PUA’s third environmental campaign and featured representatives from the World Dental Federation (FDI), who praised the Faculty’s efforts in promoting health culture through sustainable practices.

The celebration focused on the relationship between proper nutrition and oral health, as well as the impact of sustainable environmental practices on public wellbeing, emphasizing the adoption of eco-friendly health behaviors. The event included educational activities and interactive discussions aimed at spreading awareness about preventive oral care. This initiative reflects PUA’s commitment to supporting international partnerships and initiatives that merge health awareness with environmental responsibility to foster a more conscious and sustainable society.
